Katie is a strategic PR specialist with a keen interest in driving social change by igniting positive conversation in the media throughout the consumer, health, public sector, and not-for-profit spaces.

Katie moved to Sydney from London in October 2022. She comes to Sefiani from a leading UK PR agency specialising in cause-related communications. During that period, she gained a wealth of experience in providing trusted counsel for clients, skilfully navigating turbulent media landscapes, and delivering impactful behaviour change. Most notably, this includes the UK government’s COVID-19 PR response, boosting cancer diagnoses throughout the pandemic, and supporting one of the largest NHS recruitment drives.

Prior to agency life, she interned in not-for-profits’ and volunteered as the press officer for a theatre venue in the largest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Fringe. She graduated the University of Exeter with a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) in 2018.
