Sefiani partners with Royal Far West for the children charity’s 100th year

Coinciding with its 25th anniversary this week, Sefiani, part of Clarity Global, has partnered in a pro bono capacity with Royal Far West to help raise the profile of the organisation. The national children’s charity kicks off its year-long celebration of its 100th Year this week with an event on Manly Beach on December 5th.

Royal Far West is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Australia’s rural and remote children. For 100 years, it has gone where the gaps are to provide country children with the health services they need most. Today, it is estimated there are 190,000 country children that need developmental support to help them get on track and stay on track.

Royal Far West plays a vital role in helping these children access essential assessment and therapy services, who would otherwise face long waiting times amid a shortage of rural healthcare professionals.

Robyn Sefiani, Founder of Sefiani, part of Clarity Global said: “As we approached Sefiani’s 25th anniversary we looked for a worthy organisation to support as part of our celebrations. I grew up in country NSW and was well aware of the Royal Far West and the great work they do helping country kids with health and early developmental supports. But a lot of city dwellers have never heard of the organisation and their important work. We’re helping to change that with earned media stories and interviews around the country.

“As a resident of Manly, I often walk past the Royal Far West’s Centre for Country Kids which they have called home for 100 years. This is where families bring their children for a week-long stay and are supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists who provide diagnosis and assessment of developmental and mental health needs. Royal Far West also provides telehealth support and in-community visits, reaching kids, parents, and educators in remote areas,” said Sefiani.

Royal Far West’s CEO, Jacqueline Emery, said, “Royal Far West has always been a beacon of hope in the bush. We go where the gaps are to ensure that every child has access to high-quality healthcare and support, regardless of where they live. From our humble beginnings, we’ve transformed into a specialist child development service, utilising innovative services and technology, to bridge the gap and bring essential health services to children in remote areas.

“We’re very grateful for the support of the Sefiani team to help us build awareness and support for our work.”
