Sefiani wins PR Agency of the Year at 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards

Sefiani is excited to share that we have won Best Midsize PR Agency of the Year at the 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards. This category recognises outstanding agencies measured by agency ethos, body of work, business performance, and client testimonials. 

We’re so proud to be commended by our professional peers as best in class, and see this as testament to our commitment to our mission statement: we are Agents of Change.

Award winning campaigns and people

Work we were recognised for included our integrated thought leadership campaign Not Tomorrow’s Problem with Generation Life, which advocates for the important role of Australian financial advisors and the Australians they support. We were also acknowledged for the success of our 12-month earned media campaign with Volvo Group demonstrating the need for road regulation change to support Australia’s transition to sustainable heavy vehicles. 

The latter campaign with Volvo Group was also awarded the 2024 CPRA Golden Target award for Best Media Relations Campaign. At the CPRA Awards, our Managing Partner Mandy Galmes also took home the gold trophy for PR Leader of the Year at the 2024. We are thrilled that she was also shortlisted for the same commendation at the Mumbrella CommsCon awards.

An exciting year for Sefiani

This award win cements an exciting period for team Sefiani. It comes just three months after we celebrated our 25 year anniversary with clients, partners, friends, and our Clarity Global CEO Rachel Gilley. It also comes soon after the launch of the Clarity Global Crisis Council, led by our senior crisis and reputation specialists Robyn Sefiani, President ANZ & Reputation Counsel and Nicholas Owens, President – Corporate & Crisis Communications, which provides an expanded follow-the-sun crisis and reputation management service. 

We also recently launched Clarity Global’s Responsible Business Unit, led by Sefiani Executive Vice President Julia Hoy, which is helping businesses navigate the complexities of sustainability communications in the increasingly challenging global context. The latter was fortified by Sefiani and Clarity Global achieving B-Corp Certification mid-way through 2024.

Celebrating new clients and team members

Despite facing the toughest economic conditions in a decade, Sefiani’s business performance was also stellar over the last 12 months. We partnered with prestigious new clients in sectors including banking, healthcare, responsible business and more, grew our digital content practice by 150%, and saw seven team members promoted.
