30 May Sefiani appoints Lyndsey Gordon Brand & Consumer Lead; and names Julia Hoy on Partner track
Leading strategic communications and reputation agency Sefiani is delighted to announce that Lyndsey Gordon has been appointed to the newly created role of Brand & Consumer Communications Lead, enhancing the agency’s creative and integrated marketing communications services.
With a stellar career encompassing two decades of international communications experience in the UK and Australia, Lyndsey was previously Head of Communications at Carnival Australia’s P&O Cruises for six years and prior to that Associate Business Director at One Green Bean in Sydney. Before that she spent nine years with Ogilvy PR in the UK and Australia working with consumer-facing clients. She has led programs and campaigns for clients including Woolworths, MasterCard, Jetstar and Ford.
Sefiani’s Managing Director & Managing Partner, Mandy Galmes said, “Lyndsey brings creative flair, incredible positivity and an impressive track record of powerful storytelling that builds brands across earned, owned and paid media. With her breadth of media relationships and boundless energy for a creative idea we are thrilled to have Lyndsey join our rapidly expanding Creative Content team at time when finding new and interesting ways for a message to reach its audience has never been more critical.”
At Sefiani Lyndsey will work alongside Nicole Thurston, Director Strategy & Creative; Alice Spraggon, Head of Editorial Content; and Taylor Campbell, Content Director, to develop impactful integrated creative campaigns for Sefiani’s clients.
In other agency news, Julia Hoy, who leads Sefiani’s Sustainability Communications Practice, has become an Associate Partner.
This follows the acquisition of Sefiani by Clarity Global Group in January this year, and the rollout of a new global leadership model across the agency which provides pathways to Partner and President roles. Designed to be progressive and opportunity-based, the new leadership model fast-tracks the most talented people in the Clarity Global Group business.
Robyn Sefiani, President ANZ & Reputation Counsel said: “This new leadership model opens exciting career opportunities for our people within the entrepreneurial Clarity Global Group. With ambitious growth plans for the years ahead, the structure creates a flexible, strategic agency model fit for the next generation.
“We are thrilled for Julia that she is embarking on the Partner track. Her wealth of experience and passion for sustainability and climate change mitigation has enabled Sefiani to build a market-leading sustainability communications offering in Australia that is sought after by top-tier clients both here and overseas. This enables us to live our purpose as agents of change doing work with positive impact,” said Sefiani.
