Ferrero appoints Sefiani for corporate and sustainability communications in Australia/NZ

Leading strategic communications firm Sefiani has been appointed corporate and sustainability communications agency for Ferrero Australia following a competitive review process.

Commenting on the review and Sefiani’s appointment, Institutional Affairs Director of Ferrero Australia, Derek Lath said: “We were impressed by Sefiani’s thoughtful response to our brief, demonstrating a clear understanding of our business matched with the expertise we need to further strengthen our communications strategy in the local market.

“I’d also like to acknowledge the hard work of our incumbent agency, twenty6forty4. Our successful partnership with Chris Gray and his team delivered invaluable support to our business for more than a decade.”

Sefiani will provide strategic communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement support for the international confectionery business across Australia and New Zealand.

Sefiani CEO & Reputation Counsel, Robyn Sefiani said, “We’re thrilled to be commencing work with a global brand we admire, which makes products we love to consume.

“When we received Ferrero’s RFP and started researching the company, we were hugely impressed with its storied heritage in Italy and evolution to become an ambitious international company guided by strong family values.

“One of our focus areas will be to highlight Ferrero’s unswerving commitment to sustainability which runs right through the value chain: from sourcing certified sustainable ingredients to encouraging responsible consumption and reducing emissions. Ferrero’s considerable achievements to meet these goals demonstrate the business’ care for its people, local communities and the environment.”

Headquartered in Luxembourg, Ferrero is one of the world’s largest Sweet Packaged Food manufacturers, with brands including Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Rafaello, Kinder and Tic Tac, sold in more than 170 countries worldwide.

Sefiani’s team for Ferrero includes specialists in corporate and sustainability communication, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, media relations and content creation.
